Overview

Neighborhood Watch is a citizens' involvement program, where citizens, in cooperation with the Police Department, directly participate in the detection and prevention of crime. Citizens who are involved in Neighborhood Watch are trained to recognize suspicious or criminal activities and report these activities to the Police Department.

Neighborhood Watch citizens do not take the place of the Police Department in enforcing the law or apprehending criminals. If you are interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch Program in your neighborhood, call Officer Kenny Dickerson at 972-287-2999.
