Records Division
The Records Division office hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding weekends and holidays).

The main responsibilities of the Records Division are to store, retrieve, distribute and dispose of police records in compliance with State and local laws. Our retention schedule is adopted from and in compliance with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

The Records Division is authorized to have 3 Full Time Support Services Technicians, and is supervised by the Support Services Manager.  Records staff frequently attends training through the State and other avenues to remain up-to-date on laws and changes that pertain to police records  The Records Division staffs the customer service window at the Police Department.  Since our Animal Shelter falls under the umbrella of the Police Department, we assist with answering the phone lines for Animal Services.  We also issue alarm permits, solicitor permits, and permits associated with the Flea Market such as; Food Manager permits, Flea Market Food Vendor Health permits, and process Flea Market Vendor Applications.
