Responsibilities

The Water Utilities Department is responsible for the maintenance of water and sewage systems, and drainage within the City of Seagoville.

All of Seagoville's treated water is purchased from the City of Dallas. As Seagoville's wastewater is collected, it is discharged to the North Texas Municipal Water District Sewer Treatment Plant, located in Mesquite, Texas, by gravity flow and sewer pump stations throughout the system.
