Requesting Information or Reports

When requesting information or reports, please furnish the following information:
  • Service Number
  • Name of Complainant / Driver
  • Date of Incident / Offense
  • Address of Incident / Offense / Accident
  • Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope
The cost for an accident report is $6 and the cost for an incident / offense report is $0.10 per page. Please call ahead if you are unsure of the cost of your request. You will still need to print out the request for public information records form or the crash report request form, whichever form applies and mail it in with your payment to the Police Department. You can also obtain the form by visiting the Police Department. Checks should be made out to the City of Seagoville. For your convenience, copies of vehicle accident reports may be obtained through Crash Report as well.

All requests for public information and records must be made in writing. Requests will not be taken by phone. Requests are handled within 10 business days.
